The Friends of the Opera Zurich are closer to the action on and behind the stage. This season, too, you can take a look behind the scenes of the Opera House during numerous rehearsals.

The interest in Zurich's new «Ring des Nibelungen» is overwhelming and extends far beyond the country's borders. That's why the Opernhaus wants to record the 2nd cycle and give it to its audience - we friends support this endeavour.

We Friends support the Zurich «Ring» as a whole and this season the premiere of «Götterdämmerung».

In addition, we traditionally support the new production of the International Opera Studio at Theater Winterthur. This year we are looking forward to Benjamin Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
